They can be set up to switch on and off at different times on different days. They can be controlled from other smart devices and on your phone from anywhere in the world. The first Smart Plug that I bought was an Amazon Smart Plug . I used it to control a 3 plug extension lead with plugs to television, blue ray, and fire tv stick. At Christmas I used it to automatically turn on Christmas lights at sunset. It was very easy to set up and I have had no problems with it. Amazon sell a vast array of Smart Plugs other than their own plug. Their own plug can not be controlled from the Google Home app or devices but more most other smart plugs they sell work with both Alexa and Google Home. One o...
